Our Italian Heirloom Garlic

An old friend of Dom's gave us some of his Italian garlic.  This is well over 100 years old.  (Thanks, Loreto!).

I planted this in October (each clove turns into a head), and harvested the 50 heads around Memorial Day.  We gave a couple of heads to our Christine when she visited.

I'm also going to swap some of these for some Heirloom Hungarian garlic from Amy's brother.

Hoping to swap for some of my favorite author SCOTT NICHOLSON 's supply!
