Memorial Weekend Fun

We were very low key this year.  Wendy came over on Saturday afternoon for 2 nights, bearing a pizza and large salad.

As Dom cannot get any sleep when Wendy and I are together, we were banished to the sofa bed in the game room.  *grinning*

Played Dominoes, Monopoly, Phase 10 and Trivial Pursuit.  Big fun.

We barbecued baby back ribs on Sunday.  Also had a Greek Bean Salad.  (BEANS, BEANS, BEANS!!!!)

Daughter Ashley spent a good deal of time with us on Sat. and Sun.  (That kid can PLAY Phase 10!!!)

Another Fun St. Patrick's Day

We had big fun, as usual.

Wendy spent 2 nights.  The beer flowed.  Had the traditional breads and dinner on Friday, then made Rubens and bean soup (out of the corned beef broth) on Saturday.

The boys did some shooting.

Wendy and Nan at the Beach Last Week

I haven't been to PCB since last October, so was really looking forward to this trip.

Lifelong friend Wendy joined me.  We stayed 5 nights.

Had 1 day in the sun.... then the weather got bad.  Tornadoes, rain, high winds, rough surf.... so, we basically did nothing.... a lot of Netflix and happy hour across the street at The LIQ.  A very lazy and relaxing visit!

1 afternoon, semi-new buddy Warren met us for Happy Hour. (We were beach pals last summer)  Very enjoyable.

Nothing great to report.  We didn't go out to eat once.  Wendy ordered a HUGE pizza and we ate that for days.

Life is good!
