Christmas Eve Photos

The 3 of us headed to Jill's for Christmas Eve.  (Sadly, Our Tony had to work).  We stopped at a fun dive-bar right on the Little Miami River on the way....  The Train Stop Inn.

Had a nice time at Jill's.  The gals put on a helluva spread of food.  Posting a zillion pics here for family and friends:

Quaker Steak & Lube What a Neat Place!

On Saturday morning, my boys drove up to Dayton for a gun show.  The place was mobbed.  They had to stand in line for 45 minutes just to get in the place.  10 degree windchill.  My beach boy was FREEZING.

Afterwards, they picked me up and we headed to Jennifer and Richard's house for a visit with them.  It was wonderful to see our Lauren and Blake again!

We piled in Jennifer's "bus"  (felt like one!  huge SUV) and went to Quaker Steak & Lube for dinner.

What fun!  Cars and motorcycles suspended from the ceiling.  Hot wings galore.  I enjoyed one of the tastiest burgers ever!  It was a lovely time. Looking forward to returning next year with the gang!

On Sunday, my boys went to TOOT'S for lunch.  A real fun joint about a mile from Ric's house.  One of our favorite watering holes.

That evening, Jill, Tony and the kids came over for a few hours.  We had a very pleasant weekend.

The Dom Arrived on Friday, Dec 21st

Bro had to get back to work for a few days.... Wed, Thurs and Fri.  I stayed at his place watching movies on my Kindle Fire that we hooked up to his television.  Tore through last season's American Horror Story in no time at all.

One night we went to TGIF's for dinner.  Another night, we did our Christmas Dinner shopping, then had a couple of beers at a place nearby....  Buck's Tavern

Dom blew into town on Friday afternoon.  I cooked Seared Ahi Tuna and roasted vegetables for the boys.  We had a very pleasant evening.

Jill, Tony, Ryan and Brooke for Pizza on the 18th.

Much to my delight, Jill and her gang visited Ric's place on Wednesday.  Ric ordered some great pizza from a new joint-  My Cousin Vinnies.  Delicious.  Great fun was had by all.....  they also came back for a visit on Sunday the 23rd when Dom was in town.  I'll be damned if I can figure out what pictures belong where!

A White Christmas!

Happy New Year, gang!

Just starting to return to normalcy here in the Deep South.

I flew up to Cincinnati to visit brother Ric for about 2 1/2 weeks over the holidays.  It's turned into an annual event.  He has 4 grandchildren ages approximately 4, 5, 6 and 7.  Since our maw passed away, I spend the holidays we he and his family.  He flies down to Panama City Beach for the Fourth of July.  It works our great.

Dom drove up for 6 nights.  Best childhood friend, Amy drove down from Newbury, OH for a couple of nights with her 2 little gals.  NON STOP FUN!!!!!

I flew in on the 17th of December.  We did our annual two stops.... First, went to the Party Source .  Imagine a "Super Wal Mart" with nothing but booze, beer, wine, exotic foods.... I'm like a kid in a candy store there!

Afterwards, we went to the Buckhead Mountain Grill on the Ohio River.  Lovely place, resembling a big hunting lodge.  Very warm, very friendly.  Great food.
