Hi guys... The locals call this stuff "June Grass". I call it slimy algae. It wasn't too bad- after you waded through it, the water was crystal clear. Hope it's outta there before my return on Monday. (Threw in a flock of seagulls for fun.... neighbors were feeding them....note his hand hanging off of the balcony in the top photo)

Interesting... is it always like that in August? Or is it a little worse since the oil debacle? Love the gull shots...
