I've determined that the mother is not a raccoon. She's a PIG. Talk about an eating machine. Notice the picture of her with food on her nose. (She must still be nursing...after she tucked the kids away, she came back to eat more, then strolled into some shade and laid on her back for awhile.... her teets were still enlarged)
