We spent a lovely Christmas Day and Night at home, just the 4 of us.We had quite a spread..... the centerpiece being a "TURDUCKEN". This is mostly a New Orleans thing. It's an expensive gimmick, but fun....
Picture a boneless TURkey, topped with a boneless DUCK, topped with a boneless ChickEN. Then a big layer of Green Onion Sausage. All folded up to look like a big turkey.
I think that Christine has a picture on her camera...I'll post one for you guys not familiar with the concept. Ate by candlelight and listened to The Nutcracker. Very low-key and pleasant.
Our patient had a pretty good day. We're dealing with alot of ups and downs these days. (he ended up in the Emergency Room the next day)
