Hi gang- Our apartment complex is underneath the Galleria.... they've got it lit up for the Holidays. Very pretty.... the picture doesn't do it justice.
It's been a week full of good food! On the way home from the Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon, we had a great cheeseburger and fries at Gennaro's Bar underneath the Causeway. It was a dreary rainy day, and a good burger did wonders for us.
Wednesday, we celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. Dom will tell you that's it's been "Twenty one long, long years". LOL We had a very nice dinner at Ristorante Fillipo a few blocks away. Neat place. Had never been in there before. Wouldn't hesitate to return.
Headed to Tulane for awhile yesterday morning, then spent the night in Poplarville. 'twas uneventful.
Today, we had our favorite Chinese Buffet in Bogalusa. In Bogalusa, that is pronounced....BOO-FAY. Good stuff. Haven't been there for at least 6 months. Stopped at a Saints store in Covington... was hoping to get a hold of some cheapo knock-off Saints stuff, but alas, they were selling the real thing. Braved the crowds at Walmart for a pair of boots and some new tennis shoes on the way home to Metairie. It's good to be back. Have a delightful weekend!
